INFORMATION ABOUT SNOWSHOE HIKES & NATURE EXPERIENCES

Cosy panoramic snowshoe hike on the beautifully situated Bichlalm with opportunity to stop for refreshments; approx. 3 hours
Snowshoe hiking experience with qualified nature guide and host Anni Stock to the Höhlensteinhütte followed by toboggan run; approx. 4 hours
After our gourmet dinner, you have the opportunity to participate in our weekly night-time toboggan run. Günther and Paul take you to a rustic hut for a refreshing stop-off and cosy get-together. Afterwards enjoy the breeze on the illuminated, safe toboggan run (for a reasonable fee).

Highlight Ice Palace

Visiting the Natural Ice Palace at Hintertux Glacier
A spectacular natural wonder waiting to be discovered by young and old with its underground world of ice and light. The entrance to the mysterious cave is located at the very top, near the viewing platform at Gefrorene Wand, 3,250 metres above sea level. A professional guide takes you into the palace which has been entirely created by nature. Into the crystal chamber with its sparkling ice crystals, through a crevasse, past frozen waterfalls and across a glacier lake into the blue chamber and the ice chapel lit up in red. The highlight is the ice palace itself which is 15 metres high. The cave can be visited all year round.
